I love it there and will get my business. They are true to there word about what is wrong with your car not like other Mechanics second guest the problem. Plus they will work with you on solving whatever problem you may have with your car and they do not over charge.
My experienence at aamco was a very good one and I would recommend aamco to my friend.
After leaving work last Friday night, my car started to smoke , I had to pull off US 19, across from the Rally's Auto two blocks from AAmco, I called Gustavo he picked my car up and had me back on the road by Monday, I love it! He saved me! If your having troubles with your car, better call AAmco!
I was taken care of in a decent amount of time and the price was just right for my budget.

THIS SHOP WAS FANTASTIC!! I was afraid to go back after a very bad experience in the past, but I heard there was a new owner, so I gave them one more shot....SO GLAD I DID! The technicians were very helpful and professional, and they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it QUICKLY!! The guy behind the counter was very nice and helpful at explaining what my problems were and how much it would cost, then gave me a ride back home while they worked on my car! And then the actual cost was LESS than they quoted!!! I highly recommend this shop and the new owners!!! THEY ARE DOING BUSINESS THE RIGHT WAY!!!!
When I brought my car to AAMCO, they went above and beyond to make sure my car and I were taken care of! They were very diligent in explaining what was wrong with my vehicle, working with a dealership that couldn't find my extended warranty, and making sure I felt completely comfortable that the car was repaired and safe for me to drive. I will continue to use this company for all of my repairs and maintenance. I will also recommend them to everyone I know in St. Pete! Thank you AAMCO for caring so much!
Austin Did a tremendous job on my F150. I recommend him highly. He certainly has some of the best mechanics around. Completely rebuild my transmission in 4 days. He told me what needed to be done and at a great price.
Vehicle was completed on time at the price I was expecting. A very good job and am very happy with the service I received. Austin was very professional and kept me updated along the way.
Absolutely the best shop I’ve been to in my entire time in Florida. I won’t go anywhere else that’s for sure. Austin is the best he was honest and direct and really helped me through the whole process and I felt like my truck and my wallet was a taken care of beyond what I would expect.

I originally got the 8-speed transmission on my 2019 Chevy Silverado rebuilt in May of 2025. I received the 3 year, 100k mile warranty on the rebuild. A year later, my transmission started slamming when braking. I immediately brought it back to AAMCO and they honored their warranty no questions asked. Brought it in on a Tuesday and they had it back on Friday with a replaced torque converter and valve body. Very happy with this AAMCO, I have heard horror stories about warranties not being honored so it was a huge relief to see them honor theirs. Thank you very much to this team.
